Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during shop hours. Call first if you need while-you-wait setting or a design consult so John can make time in the workshop.
Can you set a diamond I already own?
Yes. Family stones, loose diamonds, and stones bought elsewhere are routine. Bring the stone and any paperwork.
Do you work in platinum?
Yes. Platinum, gold, and silver. Sizing platinum is a specialty.
Do you work with lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. Natural and lab-grown. The setting work is the same: the stone has to sit true, and the piece has to feel finished in the hand. See lab vs natural.
How do I pick a diamond?
Start with cut, then color, clarity, and carat. Our 4 Cs guide lets you move the grades and see what changes before you bring the stone in.
